We began our trip to the Netherlands yesterday morning after digging the university van out of a snow bank (thanks to Jerrod and Clifton)! Picked up Taylor in Ellsworth, Mel and Julia in Portland (thanks USM for having the student center open we couldn't have made it another mile without that ladies room lol) and finally met up with Margot, Kary and Dr. Frey at Logan. I have to say how impressed I am at the wonderful packing job we did, there was room in the van for all of us and all the luggage, I know for my part mine will be lighter going home!
Today was a get over the jet lag day, grocery, dinner and settling in to our housing in Schoorl.http://www.jamarco.nl/content.asp?page=1&lang=0 Tomorrow we will head to Brugge in Belgium for the Christmas Market (look out chocolate here comes 9 women in a van :-)
Be sure to check daily for our updates, a different student will post each day, hugs dr. Lori
